Director (Affordable Housing) — Fargo, ND (Onsite)
Salary: $102,000–$189,400 • Benefits: Competitive package • Reports to: CEO
Beyond Shelter, Inc. is a mission-driven nonprofit developer of affordable housing.

We’re hiring a Development Director to lead and manage our development team—and hold it accountable for delivering our affordable housing development pipeline from concept through placed-in-service.
This role is for you if you are:
• Relationship-first: You build high-trust partnerships with agencies, lenders, municipalities, and teams—because relationships matter.
• Driven + accountable: You take action, ask questions, get answers, keep others informed, and move work forward.
• Deadline/detail disciplined: You sweat the details and consistently hit hard deadlines.
• Contracts/closing capable: You’re comfortable with purchase/option agreements, construction contracts, partnership/entity documents, loan documents, and working with legal counsel through closings.
• Funding-experienced: LIHTC strongly preferred; HOME/HIF/CDBG experience a plus.
