Nazar joined Beyond Shelter Inc in October 2021. As an Asset Manager he is responsible for ensuring optimal performance of Beyond Shelter Inc’s assets, including risk management, compliance, portfolio management, financial and operational oversight, and capital budgeting. Nazar has 12 years of experience in the housing industry, mostly in the affordable and public housing sector. He is accomplished in diverse functions of the industry including new development, acquisition rehab, accounting, contract negotiations, compliance management, property management and HUD housing programs. Nazar currently holds a real estate sales license (REALTOR) and is professionally certified as a Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP), an Asset Management Specialist (AMS), a Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) and HCV Project Based Voucher (HCV-PBV) Specialist, a Multifamily Housing Specialist (MHS), and a RAD Project Based Voucher Specialist.

Community Involvement

Nazar is trilingual and is often found to be of an asset to community members in need of translation. He voluntarily helps where needed with completing paperwork or conducting live translations or educating on cultural barriers. Nazar resides in Moorhead with his family and enjoys Spud basketball.
